|Legacy Week - "Keep the promise campaign" Sunday 29 August to Saturday 4 September 2010|
|Legacy thanks the Australian public for your generosity during the Legacy Badge Week appeal this year. The overwhelming support shown by those of you who opened your hearts and your wallets to buy a badge and help “Keep the Promise” is greatly appreciated by the Legacy family.|
|To our volunteers, including members of the Australian Defence Force, school kids and civilians nationally, we thank you for your time. Our fundraising on Badge Day would not have been such a huge success without you.|
|Legacy is extremely grateful for the ongoing support of our national corporate partners the Commonwealth Bank, Telstra and Thales. For the first time the badges were sold at all Commonwealth Bank branches, following their lead, they were also available at Telstra stores and Thales offices. As well as at Dan Murphy’s stores, BWS stores, Australia Post Offices and InvoCare. To all who participated in the corporate tray program we thank you and your staff for your enthusiasm and support.|
|Legacy would also like to acknowledge our media friends who helped promote the campaign and Legacy’s important work in caring for the families of our deceased veterans.|
