Staff - Legacy

Staff

Legacy has a small but professional staff providing administrative and financial services support, specialist welfare services and pension’s advocacy, information and communications technology services, marketing and fundraising expertise.

Located predominantly in the larger Capital City Legacy Clubs, paid staff support and assist the work of Legatees in caring for more than 115,000 widow(er)s and dependants throughout Australia. Smaller clubs and those in regional areas will normally only operate with a small number of part-time staff.

Like many of its staff, Joanne Clark was attracted to Legacy because of its work in the not-for-profit sector.

I have worked in a number of different sectors but nowhere have I obtained the job satisfaction that I do helping those in need. My work involves the administration of pension applications and appeals to the Veterans’ Review Tribunal and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. The satisfaction that I derive from a note or telephone call from a widow(er) thanking me and the pensions team for our assistance in obtaining a War Widows’ Pension is priceless.

If you would like any further information about Legacy staffing please contact your local Legacy Club.
