| In June 2010 Legacy finalised a submission to the Commonwealth Government’s Pharmaceutical Costs review.
This submission is concerned with the apparent lack of consideration for war widows and orphans in the Paper provided for consultation.
Legacy’s submission was provided via a letter dated 8 June 2010 from Legacy Australia Council to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Review Team.

Ex Service Advocacy and Welfare Services

November, 2009
| In November 2009 Legacy finalised a submission to the Commonwealth Government’s Review of Ex Service Advocacy and Welfare Services.
The submission outlines Legacy’s role in the veteran community and provides comment on Government funding and training support as well as the associated administrative processes.
Legacy’s submission was provided via a letter from Legacy Australia Council to the Review Team dated 30 November 2009.

September, 2009
| In September 2009 Legacy finalised a major submission the Commonwealth Government - the “2010 Legacy Wish”.
It seeks the Government’s consideration of a number of issues that affect the most needy in the ex-service community.
Legacy’s submission was provided via a letter to the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs dated 10 September 2009.

Legacy contributes to Review of Military Compensation Arrangements

June, 2009
| In June 2009 Legacy responded to an invitation to contribute to the Review of Military Compensation Arrangements initiated by the Commonwealth Government.
Legacy’s formal submission was provided via letter to the Review Secretariat dated 29 June 2009. The submission concentrates on the policy issues affecting death claims, the principal concern of Legacy welfare staff.
