In March, Wide Bay Australia Ltd announced it was renewing its support of Bundaberg Legacy Inc for a further three years.
Ron Hancock, Managing Director of the Bundaberg-based building society said the local company will provide another $9000 - bringing its total financial contribution since 2008 to $18,000.
“We are again very pleased to support the tremendous work that Legacy does in our local community.”
“We hope our contribution will play a small part in meeting the needs of local beneficiaries.”
“More and more people are choosing Wide Bay Australia to manage their investing, lending, insurance and banking needs because of our reputation for competitiveness, security and personal service.”
“As we grow with their support we are able to assist more organisations like Bundaberg Legacy to achieve their goals.”

As you could appreciate we do receive many requests for support and our decision to support Bundaberg Legacy is not taken lightly.
Apart from your important community role, a major part of our decision is based on the professionalism of your group and on the confidence we have in your Executive Committee, and in particular I would like to thank your President, Mick George and your Secretary Rudy Valzan for their co-operation over the last few months.
We hope that our financial support will help Bundaberg Legacy continue to achieve its goals and benefit many individuals in our community.
The staff at our 5 local branches are also available to assist local members with their everyday banking and financial needs where ever we can.
Finally, on behalf of local businesses, we take this opportunity to congratulate Bundaberg Legacy on their 62nd Anniversary.

Over the past 6 years I have been a Legatee mostly with Bundaberg Legacy Club. I was voted in as president at our Annual General Meeting on the 5th February this year after having served 2 years as senior vice president. Over the past years I have been involved in most areas of operation of Bundaberg Legacy Club. I am sure that Bundaberg Legacy operations will continue to provide the high level of service to our widows and wards that they have been used to in the past. To ensure that this is so, should any of you require help or assistance within our prescribed charter please do not hesitate to contact our secretary, Mr Rudy Valzan, during our office hours.
