| This years Forbes Widows Christmas luncheon is on at the Forbes Services Memorial Club on monday 12th decmember 2011 at 1200 noon

| The Forbes Torch Bearers are currently running a Christmas raffle with the major prize being a Sharp " 40" LCD Television, and an electrical kitchen package comprising a Sunbeam Banquet Frypan, George Foreman Slowcooker, Sunbeam 4 slice toaster and a Sunbeam cordless Kettle. so look for the ticket sellers around the business centre of Forbes. The draw will take place on the 16th December 2011, at the Forbes Services Memorial Club.
