The funds raised from this year’s Appeal will help Legacy continue to assist 122,000 widows and 1,800 children and people with disabilities Australia-wide, with essential services such as, counselling, special housing, medical, advocacy and social support. Public support will also help Legacy nurture children’s education, by contributing towards their school fees, books, uniforms, and recreational activities to aid their self development and confidence. Your contribution will also enable us to run Legacy Children’s Camps, which provide important opportunities for children who are coping with the loss of a parent to socialise together and have support and encouragement.

Legacy is very proud of Australian Defence Force personnel from our Navy, our Army, and our Air Force who devote their lives supporting and protecting all Australians. All funds raised through your generosity and support help Legacy carry the torch, and continue our essential role in the community to assist the widows and children of these Defence Personnel.
