We rely on the help of some 5,600 volunteers known as Legatees. Originally, these people were returned service personnel. These Legatees are the face of Legacy and phone and visit our widows and junior legatees to ensure they are getting the opportunities and services they require for a happy and fulfilling life.
The Legatees of the future are not only returned service personnel, but men and women from a service background, former Legacy Juniors, or ordinary Australians who have volunteered to carry the torch and help Legacy with its ongoing work.
We are always looking for people who would be willing to become Legatees and help us care for our family of widows and children. If you are interested in becoming a Legatee, please contact your Local Legacy Club.
