GENERAL INFORMATION:

NT Legacy has one of the smallest memberships of all clubs with a large geographic area to cover.

We prefer that all contact is made by email, fax or mail. The office is usually open between 7am and 10am Tuesdays and Fridays There is a 24 hour phone answering service available.

Active Widows Clubs are located in both Alice Springs and Darwin.

BRIEF HISTORY:

'Lone' Legatees operated in Darwin from the late 50's and the first formal presence was Northern Territory Legacy Group that was formed as a branch of Adelaide Legacy in 1962. In 1973 the group received its charter as Legacy Club of Darwin. Central Australian Legacy Group also operated in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek as a branch of Adelaide Legacy and they affiliated with Darwin in 1990. In 1995 Darwin Legacy changed its name to Legacy Club of the Northern Territory to accurately reflect the nature of its operations.
