Melbourne Legacy Programs & Services

Today, Melbourne Legacy assistance is available to some 22,000 widows and approximately 400 children and Disabled Dependants.

Legacy provides a broad range of assistance and advice including:

• Personal counselling
• Local suburban Widows' Clubs providing social activities and member's support
• Assistance with applications for pension entitlements
• Assistance with the upbringing and education of children
• Annual holiday camps for dependants
• Financial assistance in necessitous cases
• Help with welfare matters
• Help with legal issues
• Recreational outings
