CHARITY CONCERT FOR LEGACY

1 RAR Band In Concert - Sunday, 10 July 2011 at Bauhinia House
| The Band of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment will be holding a Charity Concert for the Local Legacy Club on Sunday, 10 July 2011 at Bauhinia House, Corner of Berserker and High Streets Nth Rockhampton commencing at 2pm.
The 18 piece Band will be under the direction of Major Lindsay Mee and will provide a “Big Band” sound for the concert. Entry for the afternoon’s entertainment will be $5-00 a head or $20 a family with a light supper provided free of charge.
The doors will open at 12.30pm with the afternoon finishing around 4.30pm. The C.Q. Military and Artefacts Museum will have a static display and there will be a raffle and merchandise available to purchase.
All members of the public are invited to come along and enjoy this marvellous performance from the Band of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment.

"Keeping the promise campaign" August 30th to September 5th 2009
| Legacy conducts a range of events both at a National level and at a local level.The most significant national campaign relying on the Australian communities participation is the annual Legacy Week appeal which is held in the first week of September every year. This is Legacy’s annual fundraising and awareness campaign and relies on the generosity of the Australian community to provide not only money but their time and interest.
