Taree Legacy Club’s purpose is to care for the widows and dependants of deceased Veterans. This support ranges from counselling and advice, to more practical forms of assistance.
Legacy’s service is unique. Each member, known as a Legatee, takes responsibility for a number of widows and their dependants and maintains contact on a regular basis, providing assistance as needed.
Taree Legacy Club currently cares for almost 900 widows and dependants, and would welcome enquiries from those who share the ideals of Legacy and are interested in being considered for membership.

Legatees are voluntary advisors who are the mainstay of our Club. They give freely of their time in order to provide assistance, care and support to the widows and dependants.
Currently there are 115 Legatees who are members of Taree Legacy and they are integral to the successful delivery of services to those in our care. |

| Taree Legacy Club employs five part-time staff members working in Administrative, Welfare and Gardening/Maintenance roles. Our staff provide support to the Legatees and Widows and aid the smooth running of the day to day operations. |
