Because Legacy families need your help.
Lest we forget.
Each Anzac Day, we pause in recognition of members of the Australian Defence Force who made the ultimate sacrifice. We are also reminded that when the guns fall silent, there are families within our community who still live with the loss of a parent or partner.
Your tax-deductible donation will commemorate Anzac Day in an especially meaningful way and directly support your local community.
Run Army
Run Army will bring together a community of people with the common goal of supporting soldiers of the Australian Army and the families of our fallen and injured veterans.
Conducted annually on the weekend leading up to Anzac Day, Run Army allows the community to follow in the footsteps of generations of diggers, pushing themselves mentally and physically through a 5 km walk/run or 10 km run. Runners and walkers will be not only recognising the ANZAC spirit, but also supporting current soldiers of the Australian Army.

Become a Legatee
By becoming a Legatee, you will become a part of Legacy’s proud traditions and actively live its values.
These traditions and values have been passed on from generation to generation of Legatees in caring for the families of veterans.
Keeping the promise for 100 years
In responding to the needs of families of veterans for 100 years, Legacy, in conjunction with the network of Legacy Clubs throughout regional and metropolitan Australia, stands proudly as the only veteran service organisation in Australia dedicated solely to the care and support of our veterans’ families.
In the trenches of the Western Front during World War I, a soldier said to his dying mate “I’ll look after the missus and kids”.
This became known as The Promise.
