Biography

Scott Warr has over 30 years broad experience in the military, private and public sector in Australia and overseas.

Scott began his career as an Army Officer, having graduated from the Royal Military College Duntroon to the Royal Australian Armoured Corps. He completed a very successful 22 years of service, including a variety of regimental, staff and overseas deployments and postings.

Prior to this appointment, Scott was a General Manager at Clark Equipment Sales responsible for all operational and planning aspects of the $42m Construction Equipment Parts Division servicing the Australian & New Zealand network of Sales Branches and Dealers. Having been the CEO of the Long Service Corporation for 8 years, he brings a wealth of experience in the Not for Profit sector.

Scott managed two industry member schemes with over 330,000 worker members and 30,000 employer members. During his tenure as CEO Scott worked with his team to analyse and deliver significant improvements in the Corporation’s performance, culture and structure.

Scott has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales. He went on to obtain a Masters of Management from the same University. He holds other qualifications in emergency, business continuity and project management.
