The Board of the Legacy Club of South Australia and Broken Hill are pleased to announce the appointment of the new Chief Executive Officer, Ms Kerryn Smith.

Kerryn will commence on Monday 6 December 2021.

A passionate advocate for the growth and enhancement of Australian Defence and aligned industries, Kerryn has worked for over 25 years to ensure small and medium suppliers engage in practices and essential support that allows them to compete and grow in the broader global environment.

Kerryn has played a vital role within the Not-For-Profit sector for many years gaining a true sense of appreciation for members, volunteers and key supporting stakeholders. As a natural collaborator she has built a large network of Industry, Defence and Government connections that continue to bring mutual benefit within the ecosystem.

With a strong desire to ensure that families of our deceased and disabled military veterans are looked after and supported, Kerryn is looking forward to working with The Legacy Club SA & Broken Hill Board, Legatees and staff members to provide vital support to its beneficiaries. Innovative by nature, she is open to new ideas and welcomes the contribution of current and future volunteers to assist in providing relevant support to those who so richly deserve it.

Having worked away in the NT and ACT for 5 years, Kerryn is honored to take on this role and is keen to re-establish her local connections.
