Volunteer

We rely on the help of over 6,100 volunteers known as Legatees. Originally, these people were returned service personnel. These Legatees are the face of Legacy and phone and visit our widows and Junior Legatees to ensure they are getting the opportunities and services they require for a happy and fulfilling life.
The Legatees are not only returned service personnel, but men and women from a service background, former Legacy Juniors, or ordinary Australians who share a commitment to Legacy’s ideals and have volunteered to carry the torch and help Legacy with its ongoing work.
We are always looking for people who would be willing to become Legatees and help us care for our family of widows and children. If you are interested in becoming a Legatee, please make a membership enquiry through your local Legacy Club. |

Legacy is always on the lookout for volunteers to assist with our annual national appeal. The task is great and resources limited. You can assist by:
| - collecting donations during Legacy Week and on Badge Day in particular;
| - providing administrative support in the lead up to and during Legacy Week;
| - provide pro bono assistance in areas such as finance, law, marketing, technology.
