In 1923, Legacy made a promise to help families after the loss or injury of a loved one in military service. To this day, we still ensure these families always have someone to turn to for support.

Legacy is there for those we serve, each and every day. During key national commemorative times, Legacy calls on the public to share in our Legacy of service.
Anzac Day is a significant day of the year for all Australians but none more so than those who have lost a loved one who has served our nation. It is a time to recognise the sacrifices of our servicemen and women and their families.
The Legacy Week appeal has been running since the 1940’s and is a time for all Australians to show their support for the widows and children whose loved ones have served our country.
As the nation pauses to reflect on the sacrifices of our veterans on Remembrance Day, November 11, please also spare a thought for their families.
Terry was a Communications-Electronics Technician with the 462 Squadron when he was deployed to Iraq in 2016. He was later evacuated with a life-changing injury. The Terry who came back … was a different person to the Terry who left.
