Help keep our promise
this Anzac Day.

Because Legacy families need your support.

Lest we forget.

Each Anzac Day, we pause in recognition of members of the Australian Defence Force who made the ultimate sacrifice. We are also reminded that when the guns fall silent, there are families within our community who still live with the loss of a parent or partner.

Vicki & Isabella

Vicki and Isabella are one of those Legacy families – Greg, their dedicated husband and father, tragically passed away in 2013 after a battle with Stage 4 Melanoma. Greg joined the Australian Army when he was 18 and left 4 years later. After Greg’s passing, Vicki was devastated and overwhelmed at the thought of being a single Mum on her own. Suggested by a friend, Vicki got in touch with Legacy – and instantly felt at ease.

About Legacy

Featured story The Beckwith Family

Supporting the families of our veterans

In 1923 Legacy made a promise to help veterans’ families carry on with their lives after the loss or injury of their loved one. It was a simple promise that Legacy keeps today; providing the same stability, guidance and assistance that a partner would normally provide to his or her family.

Today, Legacy supports 48,000 partners and children of veterans who gave their lives or health serving our country.

Support our veterans’ families

With your help, we can continue to support families who come to us in their darkest moment and give hope to provide them with a new life.
