The next London Legacy meeting is set for the second Thursday, the 12th of April 2012.

The meeting will be held in Australia House.



2012 TNT ANZAC-Gallipoli Ball
April 2012

The TNT ANZAC-Gallipoli Legacy Ball will be held again in the sumptuous surroundings of the Ballroom at Australia House on the Strand on Friday the 20th of April 2012.

ANZAC Day, commemorated each year on April 25, honours the memory of soldiers of the Australia and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who waded ashore amid intense Turkish gunfire on the Gallipoli Peninsula in the early hours of April 25, 1915. The day soon became a profound, defining event for the young nations of Australia and New Zealand.

TNT ANZAC Gallipoli Legacy Ball is a black tie event (cocktail dresses or ball gowns for women, and suits for men) with Kier Royale and canapés reception on arrival, followed by a two-course meal with evening entertainment. The formal part of the evening will include speeches, one minute’s silence and a charity auction to raise money for the important work done by London Legacy.



Attendees will include representatives from the Australian and New Zealand High Commissions, Defence staff from both nations, members of the Britain Australia Society, TNT, the Gallipoli Association and London Legacy.

Despite this seeming formality, the atmosphere, as in previous years will be light and breezy with everyone very much in a celebratory mood.
