Our services



Our services include
friendship and advice and, where necessary, financial assistance to widows; financial assistance in education of children; financing holiday camp attendance for children and sponsorship of the Laurel Clubs of MacKay and Proserpine and of the Sarina ladies’ Group. They all hold monthly meetings which are well attended. Both Mackay and Proserpine laurel Clubs arrange two bus trips each year.

Widows are presented with a gift and the club’s own calendar each Christmas.

The club’s pension advocacy officers are available for interview in the office each Thursday morning.
