The Legacy Rosemary Appeal
|This ANZAC Day, as we remember our veterans, both past and present, Legacy is reminding people to also think of the families of those who gave their lives or health in service. |
Since WWII, Legacy has used rosemary to serve as not only a symbol of remembrance, but as a reminder of the unique charter of Legacy; to care for the families of those who served their country.
Rosemary is an ancient symbol of remembrance, that is particularly significant to Australians as it grew wild on the hills of Gallipoli. It is traditionally worn on ANZAC Day to honour our veterans and show support to their families.
Across Australia, Legacy cares for 70,000 widows and children who’s partner or parent gave their lives or health in service to our nation.
