Legacy Club Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie Ray FAICD FGIA as a Director on its Board. Sophie is an accomplished governance leader and regulatory lawyer with extensive experience guiding member-based and not-for-profit organisations through strategic transformation, compliance reform, and cultural renewal.
Her distinguished career includes serving as Independent Chair of RSL NSW, where she led governance and cultural change in one of Australia’s most respected veteran organisations. Sophie’s board portfolio spans sectors such as veterans’ support, education, social welfare, and disability services, complemented by her prior executive role as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia, Sophie is a volunteer Legatee with Wollongong and South Coast Legacy, and brings deep expertise in governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Her appointment reinforces Legacy Club Services’ commitment to excellence in supporting all Legacy Clubs and their promise to support veterans’ families.
