Bundaberg Legacy Incorporated was founded on the 5th November 1948.
From the outset the need was to care for the many widows living in the area who were socially isolated and in need
of some support, which is focused on improving the widows wellbeing and lifestyle.

Retired Mayor of Bundaberg remains Patron of Bundaberg Legacy and is greatly valued for her support

Bundaberg Legacy Club has 56 Members (known as Legatees). It cares for over 700 Widows 7 children and 3 people with a disability.
We are always keen to have new members as volunteers to assist with our sacred task of looking after the families of our deceased Veterans.
Legacy Week is also a busy time for us and any assistance from the local community would be greatly appreciated.

Members meet once a month on the first Tuesday at 7 pm upstairs at the Bundaberg RSL Club, 17 Quay Street, Bundaberg Qld 4670.
|

|
|
The area under the control of Bundaberg Legacy includes the regional centre of Bundaberg, the towns of Childers, Gin Gin, Mt Perry, Woodgate Beach, Bargara, Burnett Heads, 1770, Rosedale and Agnes Water and the surrounding rural communities.
