QEM - Legacy Far South Coast 90th Anniversary Display

"Did you know that 2013 marks the 90th anniversary of one of Australia's crucial voluntary organisations? Since 1923, Legacy has been extending financial, emotional & social support to hundreds of thousands of widows & children of deceased servicemen. A non-government organisation funded entirely through the efforts of members (or Legatees), the organisation's "Legacy of Care" today assists more than 100,000 widows, 1,900 children & people with disabilities nationwide. To mark this important milestone, Far South Coast Legacy has recently installed an exhibition in the Merimbula RSL Club's Community Cultural Display Case. Telling the history & efforts of this uniquely Australian organisation, it will remain on display until December 2, 2013. For more information on Legacy's work & the various events being held around the nation to mark their anniversary, visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LegacyAustralia?fref=ts"
