Melanie Morrissey is an Executive Consultant with RPS, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience across public and private sector organisations. A strategic and energised leader, Melanie is known for driving business growth, developing capability and people in her team, and optimising performance to deliver transformative, enterprise-level results. Her career commenced in the Australian Army as a Medical Corp Officer, serving in health logistics and operational effectiveness roles in non-corp postings.
At RPS, Melanie leads the management consulting practice across the region. She is instrumental in designing, growing, and enhancing consulting capabilities in key areas, to support clients with strategy development, business planning, operational model design, portfolio and program management (P3M), governance, and performance optimisation. Her expertise also extends to people advisory, including organisational design, workforce planning, and cultural transformation.
Melanie is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy and the Royal Military College, Duntroon. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration, underlining her broad academic foundation and business acumen.
Melanie is a keen runner and triathlete and lives in Canberra with her two amazing sons, Hunter and Harry.
Melanie was appointed as an Independent Director to the Board in September 2026.
