Hobart Legacy - Legacy

Legacy is a charitable movement providing services to Australian families suffering after the injury or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service. We currently care for around 80,000 widow(er)s and 605 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia.

Within Southern Tasmania Hobart Legacy Incorporated (which encompasses an area from Queenstown through Oatlands to just south of St. Helens) provides services to over 1000 Legacy beneficiaries including twenty five children.

Legacy is dedicated to enhancing the lives and opportunities of our families through innovative and practical programs aimed at:

  • the protection of individuals and families basic needs;
  • advocating for their entitlements, rights and benefits;
  • assisting families through bereavement; and
  • helping people thrive, despite their adversity and loss.

Hobart Legacy are again selling Entertainment Books as part of our fundraising for 2018 and it is time to spread the word.

Just like last couple of years there are now two books for Tasmania. One for Southern Tasmania and one for Northern Tasmania – they cost $70 for the Hobart (Southern Tasmania) book and $65 for the Launceston (Northern Tasmania) book and Legacy are able to sell both if you are interested.

There are early bird bonus vouchers available for the first 30 books sold. These include vouchers for Pancho Villa, Pizza Traders, Mr Burger, San Churro, Westend Pumphouse and Bento. These are available now.

Books will be available for pick up or delivery from the 2nd May but we are taking orders now.
Digital books are also available again this year.
If you are interested in purchasing a copy please call or email us at admin@legacyhobart.com.au or 6234-6581.
