Legacy Club of South Australia and Broken Hill CEO appointed to the South Australian Veterans’ Advisory Council
Chief Executive Officer of Legacy SA and Broken Hill, Ms Kerryn Smith has been appointed as one of seven new council members to the SA Veterans Advisory Council (SA VAC).
The new appointments reflect a broad range of voices, delivering greater representation of contemporary service people and families as well as an increased focus on wellbeing, incarceration and homelessness matters.
The SA VAC provides advice to the South Australian Government and plays a key role in promoting well-being and achieving better outcomes for the South Australian veteran community.
Kerryn’s appointment follows an independent recruitment process undertaken in recent months to select new members for an inclusive council.
The Legacy SA and Broken Hill Board congratulate Kerryn on her appointment and the vital role she will play in providing a voice for Legacy families in the State.
