Sydney Legacy Remembrance Day Lunch

On Friday 14 November 2025, the Sydney Legacy community came together in a powerful display of remembrance and support at our annual Remembrance Day Lunch.

It was once again held in the Strangers’ Room at NSW Parliament, providing a valuable opportunity for networking among Defence industry professionals and supporters of Legacy.

Most importantly, the event commemorated the sacrifices of our servicemen and women and reaffirmed our shared commitment to caring for their loved ones left behind.

The event was emceed by Warwick Young CSC, OAM. Guests enjoyed a delicious two-course meal, live entertainment by the Australian Army Band Sydney, and partook in a raffle and silent auction.

There were addresses from our special guest speakers, Corporal Mark Donaldson VC and Emma Donaldson, and Legacy Junior Annalisa, who spoke about her experience being supported by Legacy.

Their stories emphasised the resilience that defines our veteran community and the importance of Sydney Legacy’s mission to support their families.
